Get to know Ted and Po
We are Ted and Po, two small bears, who travel the world.
Hello, my name is Tattoo Ted and I’m from Scotland. I belonged to the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, but never got to travel with them. I was one of many Tattoo bears (there were a lot) waiting for someone to make an online purchase. When they did our manager would pick one of us, to go on a special mission. One Year, my manager had a very special mission to fulfill, he needed a bear to fly to Australia as a surprise for a special man on his birthday. I was a bit scared – I’d never left Scotland or even been on a plane. My first flight was in the cargo area of a mail plane. When I got to Australia, I was immediately hidden away, then put on another airplane. When I finally got unpacked, I was in the UK! I’d flown half way around the world, just to come back to the same neighbourhood. The special man loved his present, especially since I represented a surprise trip to see the Edinburg Military Tattoo. What a journey! The next year, the man and his wife were going on another trip and they took me along! Since then, I’ve been ALL over the world and met my brother, Po. We now have our own passports and have been to over 30 countries. People say I’m pretty grumpy, but with a brother as free-spirited as Po, someone needs to stay serious.

HI GUYS! I’m Po, I’m a polar bear from ALASKA! Ted says that makes me American, because Alaska is in USA, but I say, it makes me ALASKAN! I used to live on a cruise ship and it was amazing! The ship would cruise along the Alaskan coast and I would see some really cool sights. The cruise guests were always changing, so there was always someone new to talk to. One day, the Captain said to me he’d seen me interacting with guests and my bubbly personality was just what he was looking for. He said, he had a very special job for me. I immediately said, ‘yes’ and was sent to reception to wait. A lovely lady picked me up and snuck me into her room. I was all alone for a while when a special man came in, I was one of his birthday presents. The man was so excited to meet me and quickly introduced me to my new brother, Ted. I’d always dreamt of having a big brother! Even if he is a bit of a stick in the mud. Ted and I travel the world together and have so much fun. I love going on adventures and trying new things, even if Ted is too busy being a worry-wart to enjoy himself.
